Waterseal Mastic Tape
is a conformable self-fusing rubber electrical insulating and sealing tape.It also has strong adhesion to copper, aluminum and cable jackets as well. It provides excellent water proofing performance and has a stable temperature at 90°C. It canalsowithstand an overload temperature of about 130°C

Applications:
1. Used for insulation filling and moisture sealing of all types of power cables an optical telecommunication cable, For primary insulation up to 1000 volt.

Instruction:
1. Wipe off the dusts on the splice area before wrapping.
2. Removethe liner and stretch thetapeto 1-2 times of its original length, so that the adhesive layer (ie the side with the release paper) sticking to the surface of the wrapped cable, with an overlap rate of about 50% Twine. It is recommended that the maximumstretching length not exceed 4 times the original length of the tape.
3. The start and end points of the winding should exceed the edge of the joint by 30to 50 mm.
4. It is recommended that after the Waterseal Mastic Tape is wound, the PVC insulating tape is used in theouter layer, the PVC insulating tape is pulled away with unwinding strength, and the three layers can be wound back andforth at 50% overlap rate. Avoid excessive stretching of PVC insulating tape during use.
